DC03 FILTERS - HOW TO REMOVE AND WASH

The post-motor filter located under the
pre-motor filter should last the lifetime of the machine and does not need to be washed.

Rotate the twist ring to the left to release the filter casing.
Remove the filter casing from the machine
and lift out the filter.

Filter removal
It is important that you check your filter is a washable filter before carrying out this procedure. If your filter is not washable, it will need to be replaced at least
once every 12 months.

Pull the foam core from inside the filter.
Please ensure that only the foam core is washed

Filter washing
Wash the foam core in cold water only. (Please do not use detergent, do not wash in a dishwasher or washing machine).

Repeat the steps shown until the water runs clear.
The filter should be washed at least once every 6 months
